LCB high viscosity gear pump operates by having a pair of meshing straight-toothed involute gears rotate at high speed within a sealed pump housing. When the gears separate, a vacuum is created, drawing in high-temperature, high-viscosity fluid, which then moves continuously along the inner wall of the pump housing toward the meshing side of the gears. When the gears re-mesh, the space between the teeth is compressed, discharging the fluid to the outlet at a stable flow rate and rated pressure. The heat-insulated jacket circulates steam or heat transfer oil to ensure that the high-viscosity medium remains in a fluid state at all times, thereby achieving continuous, pulsation-free delivery.

They are applicable in refineries, roofing felt plants, asphalt plants, oil unloading stations, road construction, and other fields. Because this pump can be used with heat transfer oil, steam, hot water, cold water, and other media for heating, conveying, and cooling both the conveyed liquid and the pump body, it meets the requirements for outdoor installation in cold regions and applications where process media require insulation.
Feature:
1. This pump may be fitted with a safety valve, with a full-stroke pressure of 1.5 times the rated discharge pressure, to prevent overload.
2. It is designed with a double-sine tooth profile, ensuring no relative sliding occurs between tooth surfaces during meshing, which design eliminates tooth surface wear, resulting in smooth operation, low noise levels and extended service life.
3. Its body incorporates an insulating jacket utilising steam or thermal oil circulation for heat retention, making it suitable for conveying high-temperature liquids in low-temperature environments.
