In the ZX series of self-priming centrifugal pumps, when the motor drives the impeller to rotate at high speed, a low-pressure zone forms at the impeller inlet, causing the air in the suction pipe to mix vigorously with the liquid in the impeller volute, forming a gas-liquid mixture. When this mixture enters the gas-liquid separation chamber, the gas returns to the impeller inlet through the return port and mixes with the air inside the pump. As the air inside the pump is gradually expelled, a vacuum forms in the pipeline, drawing liquid into the pump under atmospheric pressure. Ultimately, the pump completes the self-priming process and transitions to normal centrifugal pump operation, thereby delivering a continuous and stable flow of liquid.

Application:
1. ZX centrifugal pumps are engineered for handling clean water and liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to clean water, provided their temperature does not exceed 80°C. They are suitable for fluid transfer in industries such as chemical processing, metallurgy, pharmaceuticals, power generation, papermaking, and brewing.
2. In the environmental protection sector, these pumps can be used in municipal water supply and drainage systems, drainage operations at construction sites, and liquid transfer processes within urban environmental protection facilities.
3. Thanks to its self-priming design, the pump can be equipped with a swing-arm nozzle to spray clean water into the air, making it particularly suitable for sprinkler irrigation and misting operations in farms, nurseries, orchards, and tea plantations.
4. The pump may be paired with a filter press to ensure the stable transfer of slurries in specialized applications such as oil tanker unloading, mine dewatering, and equipment cooling.
