1. Vibration occurs during operation
(1) The pipeline support is unstable, and the looseness of the pump base or anchor bolts is a common cause of vibration. The bolts must be tightened to avoid loosening.
(2) There is gas in the liquid. Carefully check whether the connecting bolts of the sealing surfaces of the water pump and the water inlet pipeline are loose, whether the sealing gasket is damaged, and whether the pump body and the parts of the pipeline system are damaged.
(3) The water pump and the motor shaft are not concentric and should be adjusted. When the belt is rotated, the rotating belt is too loose or the joint is in poor contact, which will also cause vibration. During the unbalanced operation of the pump impeller, the impeller is worn or the flow passage of the individual impeller is blocked, which can easily cause vibration.

2. Noise increases during operation
(1) Bearing noise: The bearing installation part of the sound source, generally use an iron rod or screwdriver against the bearing installation part, and listen to it, it is a rattling sound.
(2) Motor noise: it is generally a whistling sound, and only the motor can be replaced.
(3) Cavitation noise: the sound source is in the pump cavity, making a crackling sound.

 

 
3. The motor is hot
(1) The outer wall of the motor is hot, and it may be running with excess current. You can close the small outlet valve and adjust it to run within the rated current. It may also be a problem with the quality of the motor coil, so you can only replace the motor.
(2) There is friction in the rotating parts, the frictional resistance increases, and the overcurrent may also make the motor hot, so stop the machine to check whether the rotor is flexible.
(3) The motor bearing is hot, and the bearing may be short of oil or damaged, and the bearing needs to be repaired or replaced.
(4) The working voltage is too low, check the circuit to adjust the voltage.

 

4. Common faults
(1) No water after starting: there is air in the pump or gas accumulation in the water inlet pipe, or the bottom valve is not closed tightly, the irrigation and diversion are not satisfied, the vacuum pump packing is seriously leaking, and the gate valve or flap door is not closed tightly.
Exclusion: remove debris, replace damaged rubber pads, and change the direction of the valve plate. Press or replace the new packing, close the gate valve or flap the door. Increase the amount of irrigation and drainage until there is no bubbling at the vent plug. Replace cracked pipes. Lower the lift and press the nozzle of the pump into the water for 0.5 meters.

(2) The pump does not rotate when starting: the packing is too tight or the impeller and the pump body are blocked by debris, or the pump shaft, bearing and leakage reduction ring are rusted, or the pump shaft is severely bent.
Exclusion: Loosen packing, unclog gutters. Disassemble the pump body to remove debris and rust. Remove the pump shaft for correction or replace with a new one.

(3) The heating bearing of the water pump is damaged: the clearance of the rolling bearing or the bracket cover is too small. The pump shaft is bent or the two shafts are not concentric. The tape is too tight. Lack of oil or poor oil quality. The balance hole on the impeller is blocked, and the impeller loses its balance, increasing the thrust to one side.
Exclusion: Replace the bearing. Remove the rear cover and install a spacer between the bracket and the bearing housing. Adjust the pump shaft or adjust the concentricity of the two shafts. Adjust the tension of the tape appropriately. Add clean butter, the butter accounts for 60% of the clearance in the bearing. Clear the blockage in the balance hole.

(4) Insufficient flow after starting: the speed is not matched or the belt slips, which makes the speed low. The installation angle of the axial flow pump vane is too small. Insufficient lift. The suction lift is too high. The bottom valve, pipeline and impeller are partially blocked or the impeller is damaged. The outlet pipe is seriously leaking.
Exclusion: restore the rated speed, remove the belt grease, and adjust the belt tightness. Adjust the blade angle and lower the installation position of the water pump. Seal the leak of the water pump and press the packing. Remove blockage and replace impeller. Replace the leakage reducing ring and block the leak.
