Pump noise is mainly: (1) Aerodynamic noise generated by gas/liquid during transportation. (2) The structural noise of the motor casing is excited by vibration. (3) The noise generated by the vibration of the machine base. (4) The noise of the motor. Such noise level peaks are mainly concentrated in the low octave band, approximately in the range of 100-450Hz. The sound source belongs to steady-state noise during normal operation of the pump room.
The noise generated by the whole set of facilities in the pump room is mainly mechanical noise. At present, the method of noise control in acoustic principle is more commonly used to control the transmission path of noise, mainly including sound insulation, sound absorption, and noise reduction. (1) Sound insulation is to use sound insulation structure to separate the sound source from the sound receiving point; (2) Sound absorption is the use of sound-absorbing structures or sound-absorbing materials to reduce noise; (3) Noise reduction is the use of impedance, resistance, porous diffusion and other principles to reduce the amount of noise.
Noise control measures should be based on acoustic principles and try to make full use of the site environment and conditions. like:
(1) According to the environment of the pump room, the pump room where the sound source is not tightly sealed shall be sound-insulated, the rooms where the noise of the pump room is generated shall be sound-absorbing or sound-insulating, and the doors and windows shall also be sound-insulated.
(2) Control the noise generated by machinery equipment and equipment parts. The new pump house should adopt a heavy and stable pump foundation to prevent vibration and noise. In addition, rubber vibration isolation pads should be provided for vibration isolation, thereby reducing vibration noise; each pump unit should be set up with a separate foundation to prevent resonance. Use "soft" connections as much as possible on the suction and pressure pipes of the pump. Regular maintenance, problems such as packing leakage, loose equipment parts, serious wear and tear of equipment parts, mechanical vibration, etc. should be repaired in time to reduce noise.
Since different manufacturers and types of pumps have different working principles and structures, it is very important to conduct on-site survey and analysis of noise sources for the design of sound insulation and noise reduction schemes for pump rooms and the selection of materials.
