High viscosity pump in the fluid transportation system, the rapid change of liquid flow speed, flow rate and pressure, bubble rupture and alternating load are all common causes of noise. High viscosity pump transporting high viscosity liquid is the primary source of system noise.
Generally speaking, the maximum allowable noise of a high viscosity gear pump working in the open air should be less than 90 decibels. Otherwise, the noise source should be stopped automatically or forced to reduce the working hours when workers are directly exposed to the noise environment. If you really can't control the noise, you should also take hearing protection measures. Once the abnormal noise occurs in the operation of the high viscosity pump, it should be stopped immediately.
The reasonable determination of the operating speed of the high viscosity pump can make the rolling of the gear and shaft avoid the meshing resonance frequency and avoid the aggravation of noise.
Resonance is easy to occur when the meshing frequency is close to the natural frequency of the gear system. The selection of appropriate vibration isolation skills can prevent the transmission of oscillations to close structures. For this reason, the high viscosity pump and the driving motor should be connected by flexible couplings and installed on the same floor to ensure coaxiality, which is installed on the elastic support to further improve the effect of vibration isolation. A dilated description cavity or accumulator is installed on the outlet pipe of the high viscosity pump to absorb the pressure fluctuation of the pump or to buffer the sudden change of pressure in the pipeline, which is a useful way to control the noise of the high viscosity gear pump.
