The rubber sleeve of the stainless steel rotary Lobe pump is also known as the stator, and the inner wall of the rubber sleeve is made of rubber material. due to the small gap between the rubber sleeve and the rotor (screw), the stainless steel rotary Lobe pump is absolutely prohibited from idling. There must be liquid to lubricate the rubber sleeve and the screw shaft. At present, many domestic stainless steel rotary Lobe pump manufacturers choose to use new materials to improve the overall performance of the equipment and prolong the service life of the rotor pump equipment. However, from the overall sealing performance of the equipment, there are many factors affecting the sealing performance of stainless steel rotary Lobe pump, which are shown in the following aspects:

stainless steel rotary lobe pump

1. Excessive pressure between the rubber bushing and the rotor.

In the movement process of the actual stainless steel rotary Lobe pump, the rubber bushing and the rotor are in the interference state, which makes full use of the interference contact, which can minimize the fluid leakage. However, when the stainless steel rotary Lobe pump is affected by the inner wall pressure and the pressure difference between the sealed chambers, the contact pressure will decrease, resulting in leakage and reducing the tightness of the equipment.

2. Structural parameters.

Fatigue failure is mainly formed under the influence of alternating stress, which is generally characterized by low stress brittle fracture, and the local properties change. After being used for a long time, the performance of the rubber material changes and causes the leakage problem, which is difficult to meet the actual work requirements. Therefore, the equipment structure has a direct impact on the tightness of the equipment.

3. Shear stress of rubber bushing.

Under the influence of interference fit, the deformation resistance produces contact stress in the position between the bushing and the seal to ensure the sealing between the two adjacent chambers. During the operation of the equipment, the shear force will occur between the stainless steel cam rotor pump rotor and the hydraulic pressure. once it exceeds the strength of the rubber material, it is bound to tear the rubber bushing, resulting in leakage, which is difficult to meet the production demand.
