The rotary lobe pump is a volumetric pump, and the conveying flow can be accurately controlled and can also be easily made into a variable pump. The output flow of the centrifugal pump can not be controlled and decreases with the increase of resistance; the rotor pump has a strong self-priming capacity, and the centrifugal pump must be filled with liquid before operation.

Rotary lobe Pump

The speed of the rotary lobe pump is very low, generally between 200rmp and 600rmp, the material being transported is output smoothly and its composition will not be damaged. The rotational speed of the centrifugal pump is very high, and the transported material is affected by strong impact and centrifugal force, so the centrifugal pump often produces the phenomenon of different material composition when conveying the mixture, resulting in a decline in the quality of the finished product. The universal pump is the best choice to solve this problem, so it is especially suitable for conveying mixtures and even materials containing solid particles. .

Rotary lobe Pump can be used to transport substances with high viscosity, so it is also called colloid pump. But the centrifugal pump does not have this characteristic.

The rotary lobe Pump can be easily made into varieties with high output pressure, such as 150kgf/cm2, which is suitable for long distance or high resistance quantitative transportation.

The manufacture of rotary lobe Pump is more complex and precise, and the cost is high, which is the biggest difference between rotary lobe Pump and centrifugal pump.
