How does a liquid ring vacuum pump work?

Upon initiating the pump, the sealant withdraws from its center hub, functioning as a liquid piston to create a more substantial unit. This device is the pump's suction, drawing in gas, steam, or air through the blade's side inlet. The impeller unit travels in the direction of the discharge port after passing the inlet. Compression is produced at the same time that the sealant is compelled to travel toward the impeller hub's center. The compression is too high when the cell reaches the discharge port. Consequently, the discharge outlet allows the gas and a portion of the sealant to be released into the atmosphere.
