Asphalt heat preservation pumps are made of ordinary materials and stainless steel materials. Asphalt pumps generally adopt a non-leakage full heat preservation jacket structure, and heat transfer oil, steam, hot water and other thermal media can be used to heat the pump according to the conditions of the site; its working principle It is still driven by double gear meshing. Because of the viscosity of the asphalt, the generator power is not enough to support the viscosity to run at a high speed.
A series of heat generation causes are mainly as follows:
1. The specific gravity of viscous asphalt exceeds that of the motor equipped with the asphalt pump. It is recommended that the motor configuration be larger when purchasing an asphalt pump.
2. If the asphalt pump seal packing pressure cover is pressed too tightly or the mechanical seal spring is adjusted too tightly, heat generation may also occur. When installing the oil pump, the spring compression of the gland or mechanical seal should be adjusted.
3. The use range of viscosity bitumen exceeds the design requirements of high viscosity pumps, and suitable motors are generally selected according to the series.
4. The assembly quality of the pump is poor, there is friction or the motor is not concentric with the pump shaft.
All of these can be used to troubleshoot during the quality inspection operation, analyze one by one, find out the real cause of the overheating of the high-viscosity pump motor, perform adjustment and maintenance, and extend the life of the high-viscosity asphalt pump motor.
