1. Before the first start-up of the screw pump, the mud collection pool and mud pipeline should be cleaned to prevent stones, cement blocks and other metal objects from falling during construction from entering the crusher or pump. Usually, you should open the inlet and outlet valve before starting and make sure that the pipeline is unobstructed. During the inspection of the running pump, you should mainly pay attention to whether the bolts are loose, whether the vibration of the pump and pipeline exceeds the standard, whether the water dripping in the packing part is in the normal range, whether the temperature of the bearing and reducer is too high, and whether there is abnormal noise in each operating part.
2. As a screw pump, the medium it conveys also plays a role in cooling and lubricating the rotor in the pump, so idling is not allowed, otherwise. The stator and rotor will be damaged by friction and heat. Before the first use of the pump, the suction end of the pump should be injected with fluid medium or lubricant, such as aqueous solution of glycerol or diluted water glass, detergent, etc., in case the pump is in a state of friction during initial start-up. In the sewage treatment industry, sometimes large impurities (such as bags, etc.) in the sludge or scum will block the suction pipe, which should be avoided during the day. If this happens inadvertently, you should immediately stop the pump to clean up in order to protect the safe operation of the pump.
3. Whether the axle of the pump and motor is installed accurately or not is the first condition for the balanced operation of the pump. Although the pumps are accurately adjusted before leaving the factory, improper installation and fixation of the base will lead to the distortion of the base and lead to excessive coaxiality. Therefore, its coaxiality should be checked before the first operation or after overhaul.
