Why is there a slurry pump noise? Some consumers of different kinds of slurry pump products experience noise and slurry pump vibration phenomena. The following provides you with some slurry pump noise causes and solutions for your study.
1. Cavitation phenomenon: Newly installed slurry pump products may exhibit slurry pump noise. The majority of these issues are related to the installation of the pipeline, such as when import and export pipelines are not installed in accordance with the standard caliber of the pump but instead raise the caliber of the pipeline. This causes slurry pump cavitation before the slurry pump vibration and slurry pump noise phenomenon. To address this issue, you can either turn off the export valve or alter the pipeline's caliber.
2. Rotor imbalance: a slurry pump or drive machine rotor that is out of balance will also cause noise from the machine; this needs to be fixed.
3. Serious bearing wear: If bearing wear is severe enough to cause excessive clearance, new bearings should be installed.
4. Loose foot bolts: Check and tighten any loose pieces or replace any loose foot bolts that are causing the foundation to become unstable.
5. Liquid level is lower: The liquid level is lower than the pump: for instance, if the user chooses horizontal slurry pump products and the pump is installed with a lower liquid level, the inlet pipeline's bottom valve is not installed, which results in the horizontal slurry pump pumping phenomenon. In this case, the bottom valve should be installed to prevent water from entering the pump before it is started, or a self-priming slurry pump would be a better option.
6. Components loose: If slurry pump parts are loose or damaged, it might lead to long-term work. Replace or fasten the loose parts.
7. Unstable support: The slurry pump support pipeline: the bracket is not sturdy, or the pump is causing the pipeline to vibrate. The fix is to reinforce the pipeline bracket; the pipeline shouldn't be supported by the pump.
8. Internal impurities: Disassemble the pump body to verify that the friction has been removed. This is done when the pump enters metal objects or other things that are the result of friction between the impeller and the pump casing.
