CBN series gear pumps are designed to handle viscous liquid media such as paraffin, paint, rosin, asphalt, and soap, and are generally applicable in fields such as engineering, road construction, petroleum, agriculture, construction, and machine tool industries. Additionally, since these pumps can meet the requirements of high pressure, high efficiency, low noise, and long service life in hydraulic systems, they also play an indispensable role in the industrial hydraulic field.
Generally, volumetric efficiency represents the ratio of the actual flow rate output by the pump to the theoretical flow rate, with the primary loss originating from internal leakage. As pressure increases, high-pressure oil may leak back to the low-pressure zone through the end faces, pump covers, and inner walls of traditional gear pumps, leading to a significant drop in volumetric efficiency. However, the CBN horizonta gear pump employs floating sleeve clearance compensation technology, which effectively suppresses end face leakage. This design allows the sleeve to tightly adhere to the end face of the gear, forming nearly perfect sealing and minimizing internal leakage. Additionally, the floating sleeve design not only serves as a seal but also provides robust radial support for the gear shaft, sharing part of the load on the bearings and enhancing the overall rigidity and pressure-bearing capacity of the rotor system. As a result, even under higher pressures, the CBN oil transfer pump maintains excellent volumetric efficiency to ensure efficient power output.
Typically, the pump housing serves as the first line of defense against internal pressure. The CBN series gear pumps generally use high-strength aluminum alloy materials, ensuring uniform stress distribution under maximum working pressure and effectively preventing internal clearance changes caused by pressure. Additionally, the CBN series gear pumps use gears made of high-strength alloy steel, which undergo precise carburizing or nitriding heat treatment to achieve extremely high surface hardness, sufficient to withstand the immense contact stresses generated during high-pressure meshing. This comprehensive design enables the pump to operate at pressures significantly higher than those of conventional gear pumps, making it suitable for demanding applications such as large presses and heavy-duty construction machinery.
Notably, the CBN fuel oil pump has also made revolutionary improvements in stability. The magnitude of pressure and flow pulsations directly affects operational smoothness and is a key metric for evaluating hydraulic pumps. Severe pulsations can cause system vibration and noise, and even affect the control accuracy of actuators, which is unacceptable in fields such as electro-hydraulic servo systems and precision machine tools. Therefore, we have adopted a special tooth profile design for the CBN series gear oil pumps to ensure smooth connectivity between the oil medium and low/high-pressure zones, thereby eliminating oil trapping at its source.
CBN series gear pumps not only provide efficient delivery solutions for hydraulic systems, but also provide reliable and durable delivery power for the entire production process. With their superior performance, efficient delivery, and stable operation, they play an important role in the industrial hydraulic field.
