ZYB series horizontal gear pumps, often referred to as residual oil pumps or heavy oil pumps, are externally meshed gear oil pumps designed for conveying high-viscosity fluids with poor lubricity and containing hard particles. This machine not only retains the inherent advantages of gear pumps of simple structure and high-efficiency delivery, but also extends its service life by approximately five times through optimized materials and design. Consequently, it is an ideal choice for conveying applications such as coal tar transportation, combustion systems, and asphalt mixing plants.
This pump features a low-speed design with large gears, making it suitable for handling heavy oils, coal tar, residual oils, and other media with viscosities exceeding 1500 mm²/s. When conveying poorly lubricating media, it achieves reliable lubrication of gears and bearings through self-sealing lubrication channels. This prevents pump damage caused by dry grinding, ensuring over 2,000 hours of continuous, trouble-free operation without requiring an external lubrication station.
To ensure smooth conveyance of media containing hard particles, we employ processes such as carburizing and quenching followed by low-temperature tempering. This achieves a tooth surface hardness of HRC 58-62, delivering exceptional wear resistance to accommodate diverse media requirements. In the meantime, the floating side plate structure automatically compensates for gear end face wear. This not both prevents performance degradation caused by particle embedding and ensures long-term volumetric efficiency exceeding 80%, resulting in a service life 5 to 10 times longer than conventional gear pumps.
ZYB series gear oil pump features an all-carbon-steel construction integrated with carbon fiber and fluororubber oil seals, enabling the pump body to withstand temperatures up to 260°C and pressures up to 4.0 MPa. It is particularly suitable for high-temperature, high-pressure fuel injection systems. Furthermore, its hydraulic balancing technology effectively reduces radial forces, thereby enhancing operational stability and minimizing vibration and noise, making it ideal for long-term continuous operation. Therefore, it is widely used in asphalt mixing plants, burners, power generation boilers, and other applications where fuel quality requirements are low but operating conditions are demanding.
ZYB series residue oil pumps successfully overcome challenges posed by harsh operating conditions, including high viscosity, particulate matter, low lubrication, and high temperature and pressure. By employing technologies such as low rotational speed, self-sealing lubrication, wear-resistant materials, and hydraulic balancing, these pumps achieve stable operation under such demanding conditions, establishing themselves as a powerful solution for severe service environments.
