The working principle of the rotary lobe pump

The cam rotor pump achieves the purpose of conveying fluid with the help of the periodic volume change of several fixed volume conveying units composed of two rotors and pump body in the pump cavity.
 

The mechanical energy input by the main shaft of the cam rotor pump is converted into the pressure energy of the transported fluid through the pump.

The flow rate of the cam rotor pump depends on the volume value of the working cavity and its changing frequency per unit time, but has nothing to do with the discharge pressure.

Driven by the transmission shaft, the cam rotor pump relies on two rotors rotating synchronously in reverse direction (the number of rotor blades is 2-8 blades). In the process of rotation, the volume at the entrance becomes larger to produce suction (vacuum), and then a fixed volume is formed. The volume at the outlet of the cam rotor pump becomes smaller, thus the material is output. It constitutes a higher vacuum and conveying pressure.
