Roots vacuum pump (referred to as: Roots pump) refers to a variable-capacity vacuum pump in which there are two blade-shaped rotors that rotate synchronously in opposite directions, and there are small gaps between the rotors, the rotor and the inner wall of the pump casing without contacting each other.
Roots vacuum pumps are widely used in smelting, degassing and rolling in vacuum metallurgy, as well as vacuum distillation, vacuum concentration and vacuum drying in chemical, food, and pharmaceutical industries.
