ZX series self-priming centrifugal pumps, featuring a unique hydraulic design and precision manufacturing, are capable of maintaining lifelong self-priming performance and delivering highly efficient, energy-saving flow in industrial water supply and agricultural and forestry irrigation applications. By leveraging the physical principles of liquid circulation and gas-liquid separation, these pumps simplify piping systems while ensuring stable and economical fluid transfer.
This equipment features an axial liquid return structure and an integrated gas-liquid separation design to achieve high-efficiency, energy-saving operation through optimized hydraulic modeling, leak prevention, and reduced operational losses. The interior of the pump housing primarily consists of a suction chamber, a liquid reservoir, a liquid return port, and a gas-liquid separation chamber. Before startup, the pump only requires a single initial priming of liquid, which is then thoroughly mixed with the air in the suction line as the impeller rotates at high speed. Under the action of centrifugal force, a gas-liquid mixture is formed and flung toward the outer edge of the volute, then enters the gas-liquid separation chamber, where the flow velocity drops sharply to allow the gas to be expelled through the outlet, while the degassed liquid returns to the impeller via the recirculation channel to continue mixing with newly drawn-in air until a stable vacuum is established, completing the self-priming process. This entire process requires no additional priming, and the design of the sealing structure and wear-resistant materials ensures consistently excellent self-priming performance. Furthermore, this principle simplifies the piping system and reduces installation costs, while also avoiding issues associated with traditional self-priming pumps such as frequent priming and failure of the foot valve, thereby significantly enhancing operational reliability.
ZX self-priming transfer pump employs an optimized hydraulic design that ensures smoother fluid flow within the pump, reducing vortex formation and hydraulic losses to enhance operational efficiency. While pumping slurries containing solid particles or high-viscosity liquids, it achieves an efficiency 5% higher than that of traditional self-priming pumps, in other words, under identical operating conditions, it can be paired with a smaller motor of equivalent power, which directly reduces electricity consumption and lowers production costs. This pump features durable mechanical seals and a well-designed sealing structure, effectively preventing volume loss caused by leakage during transportation and reducing maintenance frequency. To accommodate diverse operating conditions, the pump’s flow-passing components are constructed from wear-resistant, durable materials that safeguard the equipment’s high performance while minimizing efficiency losses caused by wear. This delivers sustained low-energy, high-efficiency performance in industries such as chemicals and biopharmaceuticals, offering excellent self-priming for operational convenience and significant energy savings to reduce production energy use.
ZX series horizontal centrifugal pumps use advanced gas-liquid separation and an optimized hydraulic design to simplify operation, reduce maintenance costs, and deliver significant energy savings, making them an ideal choice for industrial production, urban environmental protection, agricultural irrigation and drainage, mining, and the power generation sectors.
